About me

My name is Angela. I love to collect, cut, create and collage! In my collages, I work both analog and digital, with a preference for analog. I love the imperfection of cut-out images, it often adds that extra layer of charm.

I mainly use vintage magazines and books, and my collection is always growing. It’s a joy to discover or receive ‘new’ (old) source materials: weeklies (both national and international), LIFE magazines and home magazines from the fifties, sixties, and seventies are my favorites. It’s fascinating to read and view articles, advertisements and photos from other eras.

Gathering source material for my collage art feels like a true treasure hunt. I’ll never know what I’ll find and that’s a big part of the fun! Every time I flip through my collection of vintage books and magazines, it feels like I am travelling through time.

Making collage art is not about thinking, but all about doing. I let the images speak to me and I just start cutting and creating. I am always surprised by the outcome. To me that’s the magic of making art straight from the heart!

About my shop

As a one-woman show, I pour my heart and soul into every aspect of my webshop. I’m not just the artist behind the creations you see here – I’m also the photographer, content creator, marketer, and the person carefully packaging your orders. This personal approach allows me to connect more deeply with my art and my customers, ensuring that every piece I offer reflects my passion and dedication.

I’ve made the conscious decision not to hold large inventories. Not only would that require a significant financial investment, but more importantly, I believe in minimizing waste. I want to avoid having materials and artwork sitting idle, waiting for a possible future home. Instead, I focus on producing only what is needed, when it is needed, which allows me to maintain a high level of quality and care in each piece.

Quality is paramount to me, which is why I choose to create my art prints on Hahnemühle fine art paper. This paper is renowned for its exceptional quality and durability, ensuring that the artwork you receive is of the highest standard. The fact that it’s also printed with vegan ink is a bonus that aligns with my values.

By managing every aspect of this shop myself, I can ensure that each step of the process – from creation to delivery – is handled with the utmost attention and care. My goal is to offer you something truly special: art that speaks to you, created with intention and delivered with love.

Thank you for supporting small, independent art. Your purchase not only brings beauty into your home but also supports a dream that’s realized with every print I create.
